We are located within the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For over 50 years we have been assisting educators and career development practitioners with professional development training, and career resources.
Judy Ettinger, PhD, is a GCDF/CCSP Master Trainer and GCDF/CCSP Instructor. She has been working in the field of career development for 40 years, and travels throughout the country delivering career development technical assistance and training. Dr. Ettinger has received numerous awards and recognition for her work, including the Distinguished Achievement Award, School of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Outstanding Practitioner Award, National Career Development Association; UCLA Extension Distinguished Instructor Award; and the National Customer Service Award from the U.S. Department of Labor.
Julie Hau, Ph.D. is Director of Career Training Development. She has over 20 years of experience in higher education. She has worked as a job coach, academic advisor, career counselor, therapist, teacher, researcher, and content manager. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and her master’s in counseling and doctorate in counseling psychology both from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
